Techscaler provides free mentorship for tech startup founders and senior leaders anywhere in Scotland, connecting them with the right mentor for personalised 1:1 support. Mentorship gives founders and senior leaders an opportunity to meet with experienced startup operators and build a transformational relationship for business and professional growth. Meeting with mentors, participants are able to focus on specialised challenges, receive guidance without an agenda, get an outsider’s perspective, and avoid making preventable big mistakes as they grow and scale their business.
Build on the successes and setbacks of those who have done it before. Learn from the experts who have already made mistakes so you won’t waste time making the same ones. Be more likely to succeed by replicating successful growth methods.
Mentorship starts with growth planning, where we learn about your plans and focus for months ahead. We then consider the areas in which the mentorship service can support you in addressing your business challenges and opportunities. Team Techscaler will then match you for a series of 1:1 sessions with mentor/s who have relevant knowledge and experience. We recommend mentorship sessions to take place at least once a quarter and up to once per month, and the sessions usually last for one hour each. Mentors will also be able to support you by signposting to other services and support available within and outside the Techscaler, where these interventions are relevant.
