What is Reforge?

For the advanced scaleup training stage of the Techscaler education pathway, we have teamed up with global scaleup education platform Reforge, who run a range of programmes to help established startups and scaleups grow beyond product/market fit. As the world's leading career development platform for top-tier professionals in tech, Techscaler partnership brings Silicon Valley playbooks and best practices to Scotland.

Reforge membership combines participation in cohort-based programmes with on-demand access to content and community to help companies scale, giving founders and their teams the tools to scale up their software product business, particularly in the areas of Growth, Marketing, Product and Engineering.

Course delivery and format

Techscaler members who get access to Reforge membership will join live cohorts which follow the course together each week. You will have access to:

  • Up to 6 90-minute live sessions run by industry subject experts
  • Online course materials which you can access at any time, ranging from 2-6 hours per week
  • A Reforge community Slack
  • Techscaler-led community groups and team support

Participant eligibility & expectations

While open to founders, Reforge is ideal for scaleups that would benefit from upskilling senior leaders or key staff through structured learning. This could be teams who, for example, are dedicated to cross-functional growth, product management, marketing or engineering strategy.

Company: At least 10 employees, with senior hires supporting founders
Individual: Working in specialist areas of Growth, Product, Marketing or Engineering

  • Reforge offers a world-class curriculum, combining the best of business strategy, growth, and product management. We hope to get everyone a spot on their preferred course, but we cannot guarantee everyone's top choice. Our curation team will review your individual needs and the challenges that your team are tackling to determine which course you'll get the most benefit from. If you can't pick one course just pick one in your discipline for the time being.The syllabus topics and outcomes will depend on which course you take part in. Reforge covers a wide range of topics, including growth marketing, customer acquisition, product development, data analysis, and more. The cohort-based curriculum is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of the latest industry trends and best practices.
